Tulsi Gabbard calls Biden Obama’s 'front man' after implementation of 'Ministry of Truth'

Just six days after Obama's comments regarding content moderation not going far enough, the Biden administration rolled out the "Ministry of Truth," Gabbard noted.

President Joe Biden is just the "front man" for former President Barack Obama, former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard said on Sunday.

Gabbard pointed to Obama's comments on April 21, in which he said social media censorship "doesn’t go far enough."

In his speech, Obama said that most big tech platforms now acknowledge "some responsibility for content on their platforms."

"Talking to people at these companies, I believe they are sincere in trying to limit content that engages in hate speech, encourages violence, or poses a threat to public safety," he continued.

"But while content moderation can limit the distribution of clearly dangerous content, it doesn't go far enough," he added.

And just six days after Obama's comments, the Biden administration rolled out the "Ministry of Truth," Gabbard said on Twitter.

The so-called Disinformation Governance Board falls under the purview of the Department of Homeland Security, and will target misinformation regarding homeland security concerns.

Gabbard has previously slammed the board as a "Department of Propaganda" and the "Ministry of Truth."

"This Department of Propaganda that the Biden administration has just stood up and the reason why you see this in dictatorships is because they're afraid of us," she said in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity. "They're afraid of the people."
