On Saturday night during UFC 287 in Miami, legend Jorge Masvidal praised former President Donald Trump, who was in attendance, and led the crowd in a chant of "Let’s Go Brandon" during a speech announcing his retirement from the mixed martial arts sport.

Speaking to MMA commentator Joe Rogan, Masvidal pointed to Trump and said, "Also, I want to say, greatest president in the history of the world sitting right there. I love that guy." The MMA fighter went on to say, "let's take that, you know who, 'let's go Brandon' motherf*cker out of power and replace him," in reference to Joe Biden and said to the crowd, "If I could get it, just one time: 'Lets Go Brandon!'"

The crowd erupted with, "Let's go Brandon!"

Trump attended the event alongside with Kid Rock and Mike Tyson and the three were seen sitting next to UFC boss Dana White.

On Twitter, Matt Couch posted that the image of those men together was "how to trigger the left in one amazing photo."

When the presence of President Trump was announced to the crowd, they went nuts and erupted in a chant of "U-S-A! U-S-A!"

Masvidal also acknowledged Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during his speech and said, "We also got the greatest governor of all time here in Florida. Let's keep Florida free and a red state." The event's venue was the Kaseya Center in downtown Miami, Florida.

Masvidal retired after 20 years in the sport and is of Cuban descent. His combat origins started with street fighting and he then trained in Greco-Roman wrestling as a high school student. Later he trained in Karate and broad mixed martial arts.
