Michelle Rempel Garner, Conservative MP for the riding of Calgary Nose Hill, got caught making the "OK" sign, which is just not okay anymore, according to leftists who see racism everywhere.

A Twitter user and self-professed Justin Trudeau supporter posted photos of Rempel making the sign, and called her out, saying: "So here’s Michelle Rempel [Garner] flashing the 'White Power Sign.' She needs to stay in the USA and resign from her MP position. We don’t this kind of racist bullshit from a Canadian MP @AndrewScheer your party is full of racists. Get rid of her."

Garner, however, was undoubtedly making the "OK" sign just as so many have done before. But the touching of thumb to forefinger, with the remaining three fingers standing up, has been deemed by the internet to be a symbol of white power.

For example, President Barack Obama has made this sign. And he is definitely not a white power advocate.

Or Vermont's socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, who also is not making this sign to signal his adherence to the ideology of white supremacy.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has used the "OK" sign to say okay plenty of times before, and despite odd appearances at times, he is also not a promoter of white power.

The "OK" "white power" hoax has continued to heat up, despite its having proven to be a hoax again and again. Just recently, it was former Entertainment Tonight host Mary Hart, who showed three fingers at Mount Rushmore.

Prior to that, it was cadets at US military college West Point, who turned out to simply be playing the "circle game." Same thing happened with some cadets at the famed Army-Navy football game, and it was a total hoax. Last year, a fan at a Chicago Cubs game was banned for the gesture.

The whole thing was perpetrated as a hoax by 4chan, presumably to make people lose their minds. And the "circle game" was popularized on popular, mainstream TV show Malcolm in the Middle.

It is unknown as to whether or not the Twitter user who called for Rempel Garner's cancelling would like to cancel Trudeau, Obama, and Sanders as well, or if she feels that only Rempel Garner is guilty of harm for making the gesture.
