Vaughan man charged after bomb threat made to Ontario grade school

Charges have been made in the case of a 27-year-old Vaughan, Ontario man who allegedly called a bomb threat into a Mississauga elementary school on Friday.

Charges have been made in the case of a 27-year-old Vaughan, Ontario man who allegedly called a bomb threat into a Mississauga elementary school on Friday.

Peel police say the threat was made to Brandon Gate Public School at around 9 a.m., wherein the man allegedly said a bomb was planted in the school. The school was then evacuated by police. No bomb was found.

Delano Gibson was later arrested for making the threat, and was charged with public mischief and false message.

Gibson is scheduled to appear in court in December.
