The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the subjects' arrests and convictions. Video surveillance was released to aid the investigation. A swarm of violent rioters can be observed attempting to break into the facility before several entered.
According to the FBI, approximately 400 to 500 anti-ICE protesters gathered outside the Eugene federal building, which houses an ICE office. "The protest turned into a riot in which the individuals broke windows, spray-painted federal property, and threw rocks at law enforcement officers," the agency said.
The FBI released a flyer of a wanted subject seen in the area that night. The individual is described as a white male with brown hair, wearing all dark clothing, a black mask, and white shoes.

Additional video footage shared to social media that night showed federal officers defending the building from hundreds of rioters equipped with gas masks and goggles. Crowd control munitions such as tear gas, pepper balls, and flash bangs were deployed. The building was under siege for several hours, and the Eugene Police Department did not provide assistance until significant damage was caused.
A similar violent anti-ICE demonstration occurred a few days prior, resulting in several arrests. There is a highly active Antifa cell in Eugene, a city located roughly two hours from Portland, whose members and affiliates have a history of extreme violence against political opposition. In September 2025, President Donald Trump ordered the National Guard to be deployed to Portland after the Eugene federal building came under siege once more, in addition to the monthslong siege of the ICE facility in South Portland.
Anyone with information on the January 30 subjects is urged to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or submit tips online here.
