Federal law enforcement officers arrested multiple individuals outside the federal building in Eugene, Oregon, on Tuesday night during an anti-ICE direct action organized by Antifa networks. Sources told The Post Millennial that arrests were made for property damage and attempted assault.

The demonstration drew dozens of black clad militants to the area, where protesters engaged in unlawful activity and obstructed access to the federal building on Pearl Street, prompting intervention from federal agents.

The identities of those detained have not been released. No injuries were reported.

Antifa, a decentralized network of far-left extremists that has been recently designated a domestic terrorist organization by the US government, descended on the federal building with far-left activists around 2 pm. The group blocked entrances and exits, violently pounded on doors and windows, and was observed on video captured by The Post Millennial roaming around the facility dressed in all black and concealing their identities behind facial coverings.

DHS sources said that employees inside the federal building had to find alternative exits. Additionally, protesters allegedly assaulted at least one individual on public property, which was reported to local police, according to sources. The group also menaced members of the press, pushing them out of the area to prevent journalists from reporting on the incident.

Demonstrators chanted anti-ICE slogans and called for the abolition of the immigration agency, accusing it of human rights violations.

After several hours, DHS Federal Protective Service (FPS) and ICE Special Response Team (SRT) officers rushed out of the federal building to make targeted arrests. Three individuals were taken into custody. Video footage shows a mob of protesters surrounding federal agents, yelling "shame" as those arrested were placed in handcuffs.

Crowd control measures, such as mace, were deployed to fend off agitators while arrests were being made.

The direct action was organized on social media via collaboration between Portland Antifa and Eugene Antifa. Many of the protesters who arrived from Portland have been involved with the notorious ongoing 24-hour Antifa occupation outside the ICE facility on Macadam Avenue, which began in early June.

"Portland in solidarity with Eugene. We are everywhere. Squad up. Make travel plans. Bring PPE and your unhinged Portland energy," the flyer read.

Furthermore, legal observers with the far-left National Lawyers Guild (NLG) were on site to provide support to the individuals who were arrested, assisting with bail funds, etc.

On Monday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order designating Antifa a domestic terrorist organization. "Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law. It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals," the order reads.

The Pacific Northwest is the epicenter of Antifa terrorism in the United States, with the state of Oregon enduring continuous Antifa violence, primarily in the Portland area, for approximately a decade. Earlier this week, the Trump administration vowed to dismantle the anarchist extremist group.
