The Post Millennial editor-at-large Andy Ngo appeared on FOX News on Tuesday to discuss his new book, Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy.

The interview comes after a mob of Antifa activists surrounded a bookstore in Portland which chose to sell Ngo's book, forcing the bookstore's closure and evacuation of staff.

"For the second day today, this store has been forced to shut down early because these protesters," Ngo told Laura Ingraham.

Ngo discussed the "hypocrisy of the mainstream left when condemning political violence." Ngo has been documenting Antifa activity in the Pacific Northwest, in his hometown of Portland, Ore., drawing the ire of many Antifa activists. In one incident over the summer of 2019, Ngo was attacked in the streets by a mob of Antifa, leaving him with a brain injury.

Ngo noted that left-wing politicians largely ignored these protests despite their strong condemnation of the pro-Trump riot at the Capitol last Wednesday.

When asked if Portland Antifa is still attacking people and rioting, Ngo affirmed that they are, telling Ingraham that "the targeting of the county court houses, police stations, businesses, all of it" is still going on.

Portland has become a stronghold for Antifa activists over the years, enabled by a permissive mayor who has largely ignored Antifa violence. Even before the summer of 2020, when Antifa activists were involved with riots across the United States, Antifa maintained large levels of influence in Portland. In 2018, controversy arose after Antifa was allowed by the Portland police to direct traffic, a story which was revealed by Ngo.

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler said of the incident at the time that he "[supported] the Portland Police Bureau’s decision not to intervene."

Ngo's book, Unmasked is available for pre-order and will ship in February.
