Speaking with Lisa "Kennedy" Montgomery, Ngô claimed that the far left no longer only wants to silence opposing points of view, they want to eliminate them altogether.

In the interview on Fox Business, Kennedy asked Ngô what he's been seeing on the front lines, citing recent examples of the far-left cancelling those with whom they disagree.

"I think calling all this 'cancel culture', though, doesn't really go far enough to describe what's going on", said Ngô. "We're really dealing with a political phenomenon where people want myself, and others who do similar work to me, to actually be dead. I think you can look for example, for how the hard left and even the mainstream left celebrated when Rush Limbaugh died."

"They don't want to cancel us or silence us; they want to permanently remove our ability to speak, ever."

"It is a very drastic form of extermination", replied Kennedy.

"I think you're right", she continued. "I think there are mobs, especially in Portland, who are hellbent on that."

Kennedy made sure to differentiate between Antifa mobs and groups such as Black Lives Matter, saying "[Antifa] are not just walking in lock-step with BLM and social justice warriors, they're simply take advantage of that."

"What is the goal of this?", she asked Ngô. "If it's not cancellation, what is Antifa doing? Obviously ... it's more than an idea."

"The goal is to destroy the United States", Ngô replied. "They view the American idea, the American philosophies, as racist, as un-reformable, and in need of destruction and abolishment."

We went on to say that "There's a lot of meaning behind things like burning flags, but they also pick their targets wisely such as when they're targeting courthouses or police stations. Anything that represents American institutions, they go after."

Ngô has been on the front lines of the fight against far-left extremism for a long time, and has written about the struggle in his new book, Unmasked: Inside Antifa's Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy.
