A man called out CNN reporter Sara Sidner live on air Monday night during the riots and looting in Minneapolis following the shooting of Duante Wright, accusing the network of making the situation worse.

While the reporter was describing the scene, a man approached her to give his perspective.

"Now you can see y'all be twisting up the story," said the man, interrupting the live broadcast.

As fireworks exploded in the background, Sidner asked if the man wanted to be interviewed,  "…tell me what you think about what’s going on?"

The unidentified man responded, "What I think about this, it’s all the press and all the extra s*** y'all do, makes this worse. When people want to protest, they shouldn't do it in front of a f***in’ police station… court house, s*** like that. You get what the f*** I’m saying? Y'all need to get up out of here with all that twisting that the media and s***."

Sidner cautioned the man to be careful of flying objects before he continued. Despite telling the man that the interview was airing live he continued, "I don’t care if you’re live or not, get away from here with all that media s*** that y’all doing."
