“I’m increasingly embarrassed to be a white male these days,” remarked former CIA Director John Brennan.
He was the odd man out on Nicole Wallace's MSNBC show panel of females.

Brennan said people like Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, and Adam Kinzinger were the few Republicans in Congress who embodied upstanding virtues like “truth, honesty, and integrity.”
As for the rest for the GOP:
“They'll continue to gaslight the country, the way that Donald Trump did, and the fact that this has such security and safety implications for the American public and for the members of Congress. Again, as Claire said, it is just a disgusting display of Craven politics that really should have no place in the United States in 2021.”
This is revealing of the appeal to the establishment Brennan was aiming for, here. Especially in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s widely talked about CPAC speech. Of note in the last 24 hours, Trump stated in a Fox News interview that he wanted 10,000 National Guard troops at the US Capitol for January 6th. The former President said it was Nancy Pelosi who decided against allowing that, because it wouldn't "look good."
