At the time of this writing, it's not clear how the fight started, who threw the first punch, nor the reason for the physical altercation in the first place, although it has been confirmed that Langley was using a wheelchair instead of a luggage cart to carry his luggage.
The pair sparred back and forth for just under a minute, trading blows furiously. The employee lands a right cross, with Langley telling a person filming "did you see that sh*t?" and responding in kind, at one point completely knocking the employee down, who then gets up and confronts Langley a second time.
The 27-year-old Langley is a Georgia native and played for a season with the Denver Broncos and another season in Canada with the Calgary Stampeders.
According to the Daily Mail, Langley was arrested right after the fight, and charged by the Port Authority of New Jersey—the entity responsible for operating the airport—for assault. The employee, at the time of this writing, has not been charged in connection with the incident, and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
