A Bronx playground was fired at earlier this month by a man on the back of a scooter, New York City police say.
The two men drove past the Magenta Playground in the Allerton section of the Bronx on March 12, at around 5:30 pm.
A video posted by NYC police commissioner Dermot Shea earlier this week reveals the man riding on the back proceeded to pull out a handgun and shot at the playground as they rolled past. They then proceeded to speed off.
The shooting took place during daylight hours with many playing at the playground. No injuries have been reported. Some vehicles parked were damaged by the bullets.
Police are still searching for the two suspects, and are looking for any information regarding the incident.
The suspects were riding on a dark colored electric scooter, and were seen wearing hooded sweatshirts, black masks, and jeans, police state.
