Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot and Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker were booed as they were introduced at Guaranteed Rate Field on Thursday. Lightfood is a controversial Mayor, criticized for seldom keeping election promises and subjecting Chicago to the worst level of crime in its history.
Similarly, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is criticized for the restrictive COVID measures pushed on state citizens. Their entry into the field was seen as less than optimal for the duo. Watch below.
