Fox News' Janice Dean went on Fox Primetime Live with Mark Steyn to lambast the embattled NY Governor Cuomo's and his administration's alleged intentional cover-up of the number of people who died in nursing homes during the COVID pandemic.

Long-awaited data recently revealed thousands more confirmed and presumed COVID deaths of long-term care facility residents than previously disclosed.

"This is the biggest bombshell we've had so far...we knew the numbers were bigger than the governor was admitting," Dean told Steyn. Dean's in-laws both died in nursing homes in the state.

Dean, a meteorologist for Fox News, has become well-known for her criticism of New York State Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo, to the extent that some have suggested she run against the governor.

The election in question would be the 2022 mid-term election, where Cuomo, who has been widely criticized for his coronavirus lockdowns and slow vaccine rollout, would run seeking a fourth term.

"His secretary admitted that they covered it all up." Dean then thanked the Democratic lawmaker who leaked the conversation.

Cuomo is facing heavy criticism after it was revealed on Thursday that the cover-up of nursing home COVID deaths in the state was intentionally done to avoid a Department of Justice Investigation.

New York State legislators had harsh words for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and his administration's intentional withholding of accurate reporting on COVID deaths in nursing homes on Friday. This comes as the year anniversary of legislators granting Cuomo emergency powers in the state approaches.
