On Friday morning following the guilty on all counts verdict in Manhattan Da Alvin Bragg's falsified business records case, Donald Trump held a press conference at Trump Tower in Midtown.

Trump was found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records on Thursday evening. The charges were raised to felonies because Bragg alleged that the falsification was done in the commission of a second crime. Ahead of the verdict, Judge Juan Merchan ruled that the jurors did not have to agree on the second crime to convict Trump.

Trump's sentencing is set for July 11, just days before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee when Trump is set to be officially nominated as the GOP candidate for the presidency. Trump is also expected to announce his vice-presidential pick at the convention. He was allowed to leave the court with no bail being required. The jury took two days to deliberate, requiring portions of National Enquirer publisher David Pecker and former Trump attorney Michael Cohen's testimony to be reread, as well as the jury instructions.

Following the verdict, the Trump campaign announced that a "record shattering small dollar fundraising" amount was received by the campaign "following the sham Biden Trial verdict totaling $34.8 million – nearly double the biggest day ever recorded for the Trump campaign on the WinRed platform."

"The real verdict is going to be November 5th by the people," Trump said outside the courtroom following the verdict, vowing to "keep fighting" and adding that this is long from over."

The trial began on April 15 with jury selection and the jury began deliberating the case on Wednesday, May 29. Trump slammed the trial for keeping him off the campaign trail with the 2024 GOP presumptive nominee being required to attend every day that court was in session.
