A Trump supporter at the Washington riot demanded police on Jan. 6 to take action against the storming of the Capitol building, warning that rioters are "out for blood."
Not every Trumper was down with the siege. One man donning the iconic red "Make America Great Again" hat with President Donald Trump's 45 insignia urged Capitol Police in the middle of the riot to mobilize and enact crowd control tactics.
"Why are you letting this happen?" the unidentified man questioned what appeared to be inactive cops observing the scene on the sidelines. "Why haven't you called for backup? Where is your backup? This is our dear Capitol building and ya'll are letting it get destroyed on your watch!"
Then he shouted expletives at the law enforcement officers, alleging that authorities were allowing the federal property to be invaded while the mob breached the premises. "Get some help down here," he added.
The individual denounced the ongoing illegal activity and called for law enforcement to apprehend the rioters, but the personnel did not seem to respond to the man's diatribe. He went on to argue in the thick of the action that if authorities don't send reinforcements, police don't care about what's happening.
"These people are out for blood," the man declared, walking away to rejoin crowd. The events of that fateful day led to five fatalities.
