The WE organization was given a three day notice on when they had to apply for the $900 million government grant. The Trudeau government was forced to disclose this in the finance committee on Thursday.

The civil servant who gave the WE organization this notice said that she was aware of the prime minister's wife's connections to the organization, yet chose to warn the organization anyway, according to Blacklock's Reporter.

The WE-government contract immediately drew criticism as the civil service seemed capable of administering the contract. This, however, is made worse through the fact that no other organization was considered for this contract.

WE's insider contract is further highlighted through a clear timeline of events: on April 19, WE were informed about the government program; the program was announced on April 22; and WE were awarded the contract a few weeks later.

It appears as though the WE organization was intended to receive this contract from the program's conception.

As a result of all this, the Trudeau government's connections to the WE Charity are worth considering. The civil servant admitted to knowing Sophie Trudeau's relationship with the organization, but what about his mother and brother's attendance at ME to WE events?

Similarly, Morneau's two daughters have either been endorsed or employed by the WE Charity. Seamus O'Regan served as the honorary chair of a charity (that Trudeau's chief-of-staff founded) and yet did not recuse himself from the cabinet decision. This goes deep.

As a result of all this, the ethics commissioner is currently investigating the Trudeau government for an alleged conflict of interest violation. It is becoming increasingly clear that the prime minister and the finance minister will be found guilty.
