NPR aired pro-abortion propaganda that featured audio of a vacuum aspirator device sucking out a woman's unborn twin babies on their Morning Edition and featured Sterling Heights, Michigan based host Kate Wells glibly narrating an 11-minute segment detailing the time she spent at the Northland Family Planning Clinic outside Detriot.

"Most patients are partially awake during the procedures," Wells said, "They get IV medication for pain and anxiety. The lights are dimmed, there's soothing music, it actually feels a lot like a childbirth." A few moments later the "soothing music" is interrupted by the muscular humm of a powerful vacuuming device destroying and sucking up the woman's 11-week-old unborn twins.

The woman, as Wells describes, "has two little girls at home" but was pregnant "with twins." When she told her three year old daughter that she was going to abort the twins, the child replied, "maybe another time."

On Twitter Live Action President Lila Rose said, "This is what Hell sounds like. NPR’s glorification of slaughtering TWIN babies. The sound of their deaths. Pure Hell. If you’re in Michigan, vote NO on prop 3."

The segment Wells produced for NPR revolved around prop 3.

"In Michigan and in other states old abortion laws are being revived and fought over in the courts and voters are being asked to make their preferences known," Wells said later adding she was "talking with patients about what's at stake for them in the new fights over abortion."

Wells describes one woman getting an abortion with, "Her hair swept in a loose bun, her hands pulled inside the sleeves of her sweatshirt. She spent three months trying and failing to get an abortion in Ohio. But finally she was here. She'd made it."

She paints the abortion clinic with these descriptions, "In the Northland waiting room there are these inspirational quotes on the walls like 'good women get abortions.' Another one says 'a lot of beautiful wise women have been here before and are here today.'"

"Ultimately if abortion is going to stay legal in Michigan, it could come down to this election," Wells stated.

March for Life President Jeanne F. Mancini said, "My prayer is often that the truth about abortion is “brought into the light” but nothing prepared me for what this audio recording of an abortion would sound like."

Several others tweeted their disgust at the segment describing it as "demonic" and "nauseating."

Greg Price wrote, "The left always talks in euphemisms when it comes to abortion. 'Choice,' 'reproductive care,' etc. But this clip puts on full display the what an abortion actually is: violence and full on dehumanization of the unborn. That's why it's important to share. To show reality."

Wells for her part said one of the doctors at the clinic did her part to humanize the process by dying her hair purple.

"Dr. Lance was dying the tips of her short brown hair purple," Wells explained noting that it "helps nervous young patients relax" because they think to themselves "Oh their abortion doctor was a woman with purple hair."
