What if Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom united together to form a special coalition? This is what the acronym CANZUK, stands for. It is not only an identification, but a larger idea of unity among four nations that are similar in countless ways. CANZUK is the proposal that there should be freedom of movement, free trade and overall coordination among these countries.
The idea of CANZUK is not entirely new, but is now quickly becoming a very real possibility due to a number of factors. Firstly, the UK leaving the EU has opened the door for new alliances. Additionally, COVID has made us all realize that it may be unwise to rely on dictatorships like China for any sort of diplomatic relationships.
Furthermore, CANZUK has now become incredibly popular. 76 percent of Canadians support CANZUK and a majority of the population in the other three countries are also in favor.

Thanks in part to James' incredible work, prominent figures like Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Conservative Party Leader Erin O'Toole, vocally support CANZUK.
