In light of the recent news that the US President and his wife have tested positive for the coronavirus, the media has taken to criticizing the last White House Event for being a "super spreader" event.

For example, Sky News stated in a recent article:

"The pair had been seen without masks at the Rose Garden event last Saturday where Mr Trump (sic) announced he would be nominating Amy Coney Barrett as his Supreme Court pick.

Several other attendees at the event - former presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway, Senator Mike Lee, Senator Thom Tillis, Notre Dame University president John Jenkins, and an unnamed journalist - have also tested positive.

Hundreds of people were there, and some were seen hugging one another, after the president announced his nomination."

On the other hand, as the original tweet points out accurately, there was almost no negative media coverage whatsoever of the recent round of protests held country-wide for the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg:

In the photo, we can see people not observing the recommended social distancing guidelines.

Here is another one from a similar vigil in San Francisco, with the exact same dynamic:

Also, to date, the media has been all but silent about events like the one in this tweet below, which occurred in New York City on June 14th of this year:

It's clear from the photo that, once again, social distancing guidelines were not being duly observed.

Donald Trump is reported to be in good condition, despite having tested positive for the virus.
