The White House released a video on Tuesday showcasing veterans criticizing a group of Democrat lawmakers who have been dubbed the "Seditious Six" over their video released earlier in the month calling on active duty troops to refuse "illegal orders" from President Donald Trump.

Army veteran and Moms for America director Aly Legge said, "the White House has made it very clear: the orders that come from the Commander-in-Chief and the Secretary of War have been upheld as lawful. Suggesting otherwise creates confusion and weakens our national security."

"For these senators and members of Congress to come forward and use their status as veterans to claim in some way that they are allowed to stand in the chain of command is treasonous," said Marine Jason Nelson.

"This is an insult by all of these Seditious Six that took place in this video," said Navy veteran Thomas Murphy, who is running for US Senate in South Carolina.  "Their seditious behavior should be dealt with, and I 100 percent support President Trump," said Army veteran Travis Neliton.

Jesse Jane Duff, a Marine and current Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, said, "It’s not ironic, though, that these are all Democrats that defy and despise the president of the United States, and they would love to see some form of uprising in this country to go against the president."

"These senators should absolutely be investigated to the fullest extent of the law," said Marine and podcaster Brian Lupo. "The Seditious Six don’t care about illegal orders. They are trying to recruit the next wave of insurgents to attack President Trump," said Veteran Action founder and Army veteran Mark Lucas.

While not an armed services veteran, ESPN’s Stephen A Smith said, "And you’ve been given no evidence what his illegal orders were."

"As your brother in arms, I say stand firm. Honor the chain. Protect what we have bled for. God bless our troops. And God bless President Trump for calling this out," Army veteran Steve Loves Ammo said.

The group of Democrat lawmakers in the "Seditious Six" are Senators Elissa Slotkin and Mark Kelly, and Representatives Chris Deluzio, Maggie Goodlander, Chrissy Houlahan, and Jason Crow, who were all members of the armed services or the intelligence community. The lawmakers said in the video, "This administration is pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens. Like us, you all swore an oath to protect and defend this Constitution. Right now, the threats to our Constitution aren’t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home. Our laws are clear: you can refuse illegal orders."

"You must refuse illegal orders. No one has to carry out orders that violate the law or our Constitution. We know this is hard, and that it’s a difficult time to be a public servant. But whether you’re serving in the CIA, the Army, our Navy, the Air Force, your vigilance is critical, and know that we have your back."
