An altercation turned into a fist fight outside of a coffee shop in California after a woman threw hot coffee on a man who was not wearing a face mask, reports Fox News.

The incident took place in Manhattan Beach where masks are required in restaurants.

In the video, two men can be seen sitting outside of the restaurant with their food when a man and woman walk by and criticize them for not wearing face masks.

When the men tell the couple they don't feel they should have to wear masks, an argument quickly breaks out. The woman then throws hot coffee that ends up splashing on both men.

After that, one of the men begins punching the woman’s partner leaving him with a bloody nose and mouth. The woman then grabs on to the man's shirt to stop him from hitting her partner.

The man responds by saying, "Get your girl off me, get her off me."

The couple then calls the police and the video ends as they show up. The resulting charges in connection with the incident are still unknown.
