On Wednesday, a fan at an "AEW" Dynamite" wrestling event in Greensboro, North Carolina was summarily kicked out of the venue after lifting a sign they called "transphobic."

The sign was apparently made to make fun of openly trans wrestler Nyla Rose, and stated "Nyla Rosa is that guy's dad."

According to the New York Post, Rose was in the ring at that time, competing against fellow wrestler Ruby Soho. She saw the sign immediately, and gave the fan her middle finger.

Shortly after, security responded and forcibly removed the sign-bearer, causing him to lose what was almost certainly a very expensive ringside seat.

Rose's partner, whose name is unknown at the time of this writing, tweeted her support for the way things were handled, saying that she felt that security did their job properly and promptly:

"The security team at AEW is absolutely amazing. The guy was escorted out. Just because it wasn’t fast enough for some of you, doesn’t mean they didn’t do their job. Their first priority it to protect the talent that is actively performing," she wrote.

"They removed the asshole with the sign as soon as they could. Neither myself nor Nyla would want them to not protect the other workers just because of one douche canoe holding a sign. He was dealt with; end of story. This is and always will be a Security Sam Stan account," she continued.
