A woman was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after allegedly firing multiple gunshots outside Rihanna’s Beverly Hills-area mansion. Authorities said that at least 10 shots were fired at the home while the singer and her children were inside.

According to Fox News, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon involving gunfire at around 1:15 pm in the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood. An LAPD spokesperson told the outlet that dispatch received reports that roughly 10 shots had been heard in the area.

Police audio from the incident indicated the gunfire appeared to come from across the street from the property. Police said that woman drove up to the home and started shooting at the residence, which the singer shares with A$AP Rocky just outside the city of Beverly Hills.

Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, and her family, including her children, were inside the home at the time of the incident, according to TMZ. Authorities said the suspect fired several rounds from inside a vehicle before leaving the immediate area.

The suspect, 30 years old, was driving a white Tesla which was located by police helicopter on Coldwater Canyon Drive. Police had arrested the suspect 30 minutes after the 911 call was placed. Inside the vehicle, "an assault rifle and seven casings" were found, according to Variety.

No injuries were reported in connection with the shooting and not motive was immediately known. LAPD Capt. Mike Bland said that more information, including booking as well as identity information would be released on Monday.
