"Forty-four percent (44%) of Federal Government Managers plan on supporting the new Administration while 42% will resist."
RGM research conducted three surveys through December in order to study groups in the United States and their views. The groups were divided into the groups: "Elite 1%," or those who have postgraduate degrees, have an annual income of 150,000 or more, and live in urban areas; the Main Street Americans who do not have any of these criteria and are between 70 to 75 percent of the US population; and the “Federal Government Managers,” who are defined as federal employees living in around the DC area and earn at least $75,000 annually.
The groups were asked, "Looking ahead to the next four years, will your political efforts be primarily to support the Trump administration or resist the Trump administration?"
69 percent of "Main Street" Americans said they would support or strongly support the incoming administration. And even the “Elite 1%” were much more likely to say they plan on supporting Trump with 48 percent while only 39 will resist his efforts despite the elite group largely voting for Kamala Harris during the election.
However, with the govenment managers group, 44 percent of them are intent on supporting Trump while about the same amount, 42 percent, plan on resisting the incoming administration. 45 percent of this group voted for Trump while 52 percent voted for Harris in the election.
Those that were more intent on resisting the Trump administration in the government managers group were also much more likely to identify as Democrats and about three quarters of Democrats in the government managers group are planning on resisting Trump.
When the Government Managers were asked about what they would do if Trump gave a legal order that they thought was incorrect, only “17% of Democratic Managers who voted for Vice President Harris would follow the president’s order,” a survey summary said.
“Three times as many (64%) would ignore the order and do what they thought was best,” it added.
Over half of the Main Street Americans and Elite 1%, however, did not take kindly to the idea of bucking a legal order from the president and the majority said those refusing to do so should be fired.
The survey paints a picture of what some have called the “Deep State,” or the that there are many entrenched government employees set on disrupting Trump’s agenda as he takes office. The term gained popularity in Trump’s first term as some in the federal government sought to undermine his agenda.

'...42% of federal government employees in DC...' Notice it didn't say 'workers', 'cause that would be an oxymoron regarding DC.
