"I've had a few days to process this, and now I'm mad. I'm mad that these a**holes so clearly have no regard for human life."
Anderson, 47, known for hosting Selling Mega Mansions and her appearance in Wedding Crashers, was walking with a friend from a restaurant on Canon Drive to another nearby establishment on August 16 when she was attacked near Santa Monica Boulevard around 9 pm.
"I could see someone in the alleyway. I didn't think much of it, and it happened so quickly," Anderson told KTLA. "They lunged at me and tried to take my purse. I tensed up. It was just my natural reaction. And because they didn't get the purse on the first attempt, the person slammed me to the ground."
The assailants, described as two men who were part of a group of three, fled the scene in a getaway car. Anderson's screams alerted bystanders, who called 911. The Beverly Hills Police Department responded swiftly and apprehended the suspects within 10 minutes. Additionally, the actress's purse was located inside the getaway vehicle.
The suspects, identified as Vlad Oganisyan, 23, Razmik Papikyan, 25, and Grigoriyan Vahagn, 45, were booked on felony charges, including attempted robbery and conspiracy. They were released on bond the following morning. Anderson positively identified the suspects after police brought her to the arrest site, and believes that a lookout may have been involved, telling the outlet, "I do think they possibly had a lookout, whether they were across the street or near the restaurant where we dined. Maybe someone kept an eye on us."
In an Instagram post, Anderson expressed frustration with crime-ridden Los Angeles, stating, "I've had a few days to process this, and now I'm mad. I'm mad that these a**holes so clearly have no regard for human life." She thanked Beverly Hills PD for doing a "phenomenal job," but urged her followers to take safety precautions such as not carrying designer bags or wearing expensive watches to avoid becoming targets. Anderson noted that the city has "changed" and "it's a really big problem."

Furthermore, Anderson issued high praise for Nathan Hochman, Los Angeles' newly elected tough-on-crime district attorney, who she believes will hold her assailants accountable.
