"I think people see the injustice in what happened, and they want to vote for him more than ever."
When questioned on why she is still supporting Donald Trump after his conviction, model Amber Rose hit back saying, "We're not brainwashed anymore by the left."
Rose was walking on Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles Friday when a TMZ reporter approached her and started to ask if she was still supporting Trump after his conviction in May.
The reporter asked, "People were shocked with your endorsement of Donald Trump. I mean, you're all about women's rights issues. What was the reason for the big change?"
Rose responded, saying that Making America Great Again helps women as well. When asked by the reporter if the conviction changed her mind, Rose said, "I think it helps him more... I think people see the injustice in what happened, and they want to vote for him more than ever."
When pressed on the issue, Rose said, "I think we just did our research, and we're just not brainwashed by the left. I can say that about myself. All these years I've been brainwashed and I'm not anymore."
The reporter then asked her if Trump would approve of the slut walk. Rose responded, saying that she has not gone to the slut walk since 2018, and then added, "I think I can do something better for women than a slut walk."
She added that she was able to fundraise off the slut walk to raise money for women to get counseling for domestic violence, sexual assault, and rape. Rose then remarked that she is still passionate about those social problems and said, "I just don't think I need a slut walk for that."
Rose endorsed Trump earlier in May and her audience responded with both praise and backlash. She posted on her social media, appearing alongside Melania and Donald Trump, and wrote in the caption, "Trump 2024.”
