The poll found that among attendees, Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr was the most popular, with 96.8 percent saying they somewhat or strongly approve of the official’s job performance, and most being in the strongly support category. RFK Jr was followed by Hegseth, who had 94.7 percent approval, Rubio with a 92.9 percent approval rating, Noem with an approval rating of 90.1 percent, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy with an 83.4 percent approval rating, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who had an approval rating of 82.2 percent.
While other officials included in the poll saw the majority of attendees express their approval of their job performance, a sizeable portion were unsure, as these figures are not seen as frequently. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum received an approval rating of 69.9 percent, with 28.2 percent saying they were unsure; Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collin received an approval rating of 67.2 percent, with 30.8 percent being unsure; Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick received 65.3 percent approval, with 30.2 percent being unsure; Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins received an approval rating of 64.5 percent, and 31.6 percent were unsure; and 56.7 percent said they approved of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer’s performance, with 39.7 percent being unsure.
The only figure polled to receive a disapproval rating in the double digits was Attorney General Pam Bondi. A total of 64.8 percent of respondents said they somewhat or strongly approved of her job performance, while 29 percent strongly or somewhat disapproved of her performance. An additional 6.2 percent were unsure.
The straw poll, released on Monday after the event's Sunday conclusion, also found that current Vice President JD Vance, who spoke at the convention on Sunday, is overwhelmingly favored to be the 2028 GOP presidential nominee. The poll found that 84.2 percent of attendees want Vance for the spot. Attendees were also asked whether they would support a moratorium on new immigration to the United States, with 89.5 percent saying that they do.
