ANDY NGO REPORTS: Seattle woman charged 10 months after Brandi Kruse violently mobbed outside ICE facility

A Seattle-area woman has been charged with assault 10 months after journalist Brandi Kruse was violently mobbed during an Antifa direct action outside a federal immigration facility.

Fabiana Lucia Cantera-Silvestre (b. Aug. 15, 1995), 30, faces one count of fourth-degree assault and one count of disorderly conduct stemming from a June 14, 2025 incident in Tukwila, Wash., a suburb south of Seattle.  

The Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Tukwila alleges Cantera assaulted Kruse during the anti-ICE protest.

Video captured by Kruse shows a masked woman, alleged to be Cantera, physically blocking her with a sign and obstructing her pathway on the public street with people dressed in black.

During the attack, another masked person sprayed Kruse in the face with bug spray, while Cantera is accused of striking her multiple times with a cardboard sign.  

The attack occurred as Antifa and other far-left extremists gathered to riot and attack the federal building.

They blocked the driveways and hurled projectile weapons at responding law enforcement.

Kruse identified Cantera through a photo lineup months after the attack.

"As we saw this week with Savanah Hernandez, these far-left agitators have been conditioned to believe they can assault members of the press, out in the open, without repercussions," Kruse told The Post Millennial in a statement. "The only way to change that behavior is for there to be accountability."

On Saturday, Savannah Hernandez was mobbed and assaulted by far-left anti-ICE extremists outside a federal building near Minneapolis.

Kruse, Hernandez and this writer were among the journalists who spoke to President Trump and members of his cabinet at the White House last October about Antifa and leftist political violence against the media.

Kruse went viral at the time for joking with the president about overcoming her "TDS" — Trump Derangement Syndrome. 

Cantera, the suspect, has taken down all of her social media and online photos. Other activities that haven’t been removed yet include a GoFundMe fundraiser for Venezuelans as well as a record of her donation to a Gaza-related campaign.

"I remain hopeful prosecutors will be able to identify my other assailants," Kruse said. "If local police have exhausted their investigative leads on that suspect, I would welcome intervention from federal law enforcement."
