Seattle BLM and Antifa lamented over social media that their riot gear has been stolen by the homeless.

The gear was most likely headed for riot staging areas in Seattle which BLM and Antifa have been organizing in homeless encampments in parks.

The Twitter handles tagged in the posts have a presence in Cal Anderson Park, formerly the center of the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP) which was raided two weeks ago by Seattle police.

Knives, machetes, unexploded mortars, spike strips and Antifa riot shields were found in the raid. Yet, rioters claim they are in the park “to help feed the homeless.”

The owners of those same Twitter handles claimed to be in the park during a grisly murder suicide in the park last week by a well known Seattle prolific offender.

At the beginning of CHOP, occupiers had similar concerns about their homeless neighbours who began moving into the park.

Following multiple shootings in the CHOP, most activists fled the area, leaving behind the homeless campers. The park has been technically closed since the dismantling of the CHOP in early July.

Yet like the encampments across the city in the wake of the defunding of the Seattle’s homeless outreach ‘Navigation Team,’ the encampments continue to grow.
