An Antifa 'protest' turned into a riot and was declared an unlawful assembly at a Portland, OR, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility on Saturday night.

Antifa members dressed in black bloc and used umbrellas to hide their activities attacked federal agents, who multiple times were forced to retreat back into the facility.

“You guys are committing apartheid! This land was never yours!” Antifa shouted at federal officers while they were making an arrest.

The protest was declared an unlawful assembly and the crowd ordered to disperse before federal agents began launching tear gas and flash bangs at the crowd.

This was the second time this week that antifa showed up to attack the ICE facility. Portland has been the site of almost nightly protests and riots since the death of George Floyd in May of 2020.

The crowd finally dispersed shortly after midnight. Thursday when asked about the riots in Portland, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said she has not "spoken with him (Biden) specifically about those events" but it is being closely monitored by the administration's national security team. President Joe Biden had previously referred to Antifa as "just an idea" in an October presidential debate with then President Donald Trump.
