Video of the incident has garnered millions of views across several X accounts.
Footage showed the woman lowering herself to eye-level with the girl who was in a stroller outside Shell Energy Stadium on Friday. The speaking event featured Beyonce in her native state, making her the latest high-profile celebrity to appear at a Harris rally as the campaign continues to fight for the attention of Americans.
The New York Post reported that the video of the apparent Harris supporter has garnered millions of views across several X accounts. It is not clear what the woman was yelling or why she was yelling.
The girl’s apparent father was seen holding a microphone moments before the yelling started, suggesting that he may have said something to the crowd that could have upset the woman. The apparent father then grabbed the child out of the stroller and into his arms before backing away.
One woman holding a Harris-Walz sign intervened once the yelling began and pushed the agitator away from the child. Someone can be heard asking the woman “are you not ashamed at all?”
X users were quick to call out the aggressive behavior, with many questioning her state of mind.
“In what drugged up mental state do you have to be?” asked one user.
“This is so gross,” another user said.
“You know you hold the moral high ground for sure when you are confident enough to yell at little girls,” a third wrote.
The woman in the video has not been identified.
