"Violence is not a bug but a feature of the so-called ‘Free Palestine’ movement, which has no desire to free Palestinians from Hamas."

Anti-Israel activists violently targeted one of the most Jewish neighborhoods in New York Tuesday night, drawing comparison to Germany in the 1930s. Islamists attempted to stab Jews in the street, ram them with a car, assault them with sticks, and pepper spray pro-Israel counter-protesters. The harassment, protests and arrests happened in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn.

The targeted protest against Jews in Brooklyn was organized by the anti-Israel radical group Pal-Awda. On Monday afternoon, the group announced on X that it was targeting the orthodox Jewish community to protest “settlements” in Israel, and called for a “complete end” to the Jewish state of Israel. It should be noted that they were targeting New Yorkers who live in New York in order to make their point.

According to The Times of Israel, activists waving Palestinian flags targeted the Borough Park neighborhood, chanting, “Zionists go to hell,” “How many kids did you kill today?” “There is only one solution, intifada revolution,” and “Settlers, settlers go back home, Palestine is ours alone.” They were, however, in Brooklyn, not Israel or Gaza.

Pro-Israel counter-protesters carrying Israeli flags also gathered in the area. According to the New York Post, the two groups were separated by barricades. The outlet reported that charges are pending against the one anti-Israel radical who was taken into custody after attempting to stab a Jew.

Another anti-Israel activist was reportedly taken into custody after attempting to ram his car into Jewish counter-protesters.

Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) slammed the radical antisemites on X for targeting a Jewish neighborhood. He posted, “It should come as a shock to no one that the pro-Hamas mob targeting Jews and promising to ‘flood’ Boro Park has descended into violence. Violence is not a bug but a feature of the so-called ‘Free Palestine’ movement, which has no desire to free Palestinians from Hamas.”

The group End Jew Hatred blasted city leaders for not standing up against the antisemitic activists, “Hamas apologists and supporters, cloaked in the tired and well-worn pretense of supporting ‘Palestine,’ showed their true nature as violent thugs looking for any reason to attack Jews.”

Hillel Fuld wrote on X, “We are seeing full pogroms happen in the streets of America, 2025.”

The protest came only hours after Hamas claimed that Kfir and Ariel Bibas, 2 and 5, and their mother, Shiri Bibas, who Palestinian terrorists kidnaped on Oct 7, 2023, are dead and that their bodies would be returned to Israel later this week.
