Biden's ATF wants Americans to snitch on their exes to get their illegal guns confiscated

"Valentine's Day can still be fun even if you broke up," ATF posted, "Do you have information about a former (or current) partner involved in illegal gun activity?"

The US Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) on Monday released a Valentine's Day post, using the occasion to encourage people to go to the authorities with dirt on their ex-romantic partners who may be involved in the trafficking of illegal firearms.

"Valentine's Day can still be fun even if you broke up," ATF posted, "Do you have information about a former (or current) partner involved in illegal gun activity? Let us know, and we will make sure it's a Valentine's Day to remember! Call 1-888-ATF-TIPS or email ATFTips@atf.gov."

The Biden administration has been in favor of stringent gun control measures. In April 2021, they released a new initiative designed to combat what they called a "public health epidemic" of gun violence.

President Biden has also publicly called for a "red-flag law" at the national level so that people's guns could be confiscated preemptively, if that person was reported to present a potential danger to themselves or others.

Replies by Twitter users made fun of the post:

"He's not a former or current partner, but here's a tip regarding an illegal gun purchase," said one reply from Deb Heine, a recognized author who was the inventor of the term "Blue Anon."

"Name: Robert Hunter Biden," the tweet continues:

Human Events' Jack Posobiec wrote, "You mean like this guy?" captioning a photo of Hunter Biden:

Hunter Biden reportedly purchased a gun illegally after making false claims on a background check form in 2018.
