A shooting near the downtown area of Austin TX at approx. 1:00pm on Sunday has left at least three people dead, and police frantically searching for the suspect.

"APD is currently on scene of an active shooting incident at Great Hills Trail and Rain Creek Parkway. All residents are advised to shelter in place and avoid the area. PIO en route." Tweeted the Austin Police Department:

"At this time the Great Hills Trail scene is still active. We are still asking residents to shelter in place and report suspicious activity. While a suspect is still at large it appears this is a domestic situation that is isolated and there is no risk to the general public," the APD tweeted again at 1:27pm on Sunday:

So far, three adults have been pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. No other information is available at this time, but there exists a possibility of other casualties due to this incident. The three victims have since been identified as a Black man and two Hispanic women.

Since this is an ongoing investigation, anybody with any information or anybody in the area who sees anything suspicious is advised to immediately contact the APD.

As identified by The Post Millennial editor-at-large Andy Ngo, the suspect was identified as Stephen Nicholas Broderick, who was reportedly charged last year for a sex crime against a child.
