"We always have cops out here so they took care of it fast."
On Saturday, a "smoking bag" of feces was left outside of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
An NYPD spokesperson told the New York Post, "It’s being investigated. The bag was smoking and when it was opened there was paper towel in the form of ash and the feces" and no one was hurt.
The Trump Tower doorman told the outlet, "We always have cops out here so they took care of it fast."
A retired couple John and Mery McDerment told the outlet that they were not aware of the smoking feces after they finished a tour of the building. "Wow, that person must be sick in the head. Who would do such a thing?" Mery reacted.
"That’s just ludicrous, so childish," John said. "Probably anti-Trump too, but that’s just too far."
Police said they were looking for a white man wearing a gray coat, black scarf, and white sneakers, who appeared to be in his 20s.
This comes after New York Attorney General Letitia James vowed to seize the former President's assets if he fails to pay the $354 million ordered by Judge Arthur Engoron in the civil fraud case she brought against him.
"If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets," James told ABC News' Aaron Katersky. "We are prepared to make sure that the judgment is paid to New Yorkers, and yes, I will get 40 Wall Street each and every day."
In the case, James argued that Trump inflated the value of his business entities, and engaged in a pattern of "repeated and persistent fraud."
Trump is also barred from conducting business in New York for three years.
