During an interview with Fox News' Judge Jeanine Pirro on Wednesday, Derek Maltz declared that the crisis at the southern border was "destroying America."

The former Drug Enforcement Administration special ops director warned that if nothing is done to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into the country, "every American, red or blue, is gonna be impacted."

"Americans, especially in the minority communities ... along with senior citizens and veterans all feel like they're being subjugated to these illegals who are not being vetted," Pirro began. "What is going on?"

"There's outrage everywhere," Maltz replied, citing yet another case of an illegal immigrant killing an American citizen. "What's happening is the reckless, dangerous border policies are causing chaos everywhere."

He questioned why, at a time where nearly 300 Americans are dying every day due to fentanyl, the Biden administration is allowing an increasing number of illegal immigrants from China into the United States.

"They're sending dangerous chemicals in addition to fentanyl," he lamented, "they're sending the nitazines, edonitozines, the isotonitazenes ... it's rotting people on the streets of America and now you see the citizens are starting to get upset."

Maltz went on to highlight the rampant gang violence perpetrated in the US by illegal immigrants from Venezuela and Nicaragua and the terror that has brought to residents.

"Even the mayor of New York says the migrant crisis is gonna destroy New York," he added. "No, the migrant crisis is gonna destroy America, and so everyone's starting to feel it."

Pirro then pointed out that, according to recent reports, the Biden administration had slashed the number of questions asked to illegal immigrants from China, and only China, from 40 to just five.

"It's insanity," Maltz replied. "I can't understand it, especially when Christopher Wray is telling the world that China is the biggest national threat to our country. How do you justify it? I don't know."
