Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) was being interviewed on Newsmax's "Saturday Agenda," and he suggested that President Biden get a cognitive test as a "Christmas promise" to the American people.
Van Drew has famously switched party affiliations earlier on in the year 2021, and has even allegedly received death threats for doing so.
Van Drew is first asked if he thinks that Joe Biden really has "saved Christmas" like he claimed he did, especially considering Biden's continued plummeting in approval polls.
He responds firstly by wishing everybody a Merry Christmas, but also pointing out that the President's statements should be considered to be "the big Biden Christmas lie."
"... If he wants to tell it straight, he ought to speak about how our cities across the country have the highest crime rate we've ever had."
"He could talk about the fact that we have supply-chain problems that still exist and, in many cases, have gotten worse."
"He could talk about the fact of how our border is broken open and literally we have people bleeding in to the country who are sick; some of them [are] diseased, some of them are criminals."
"He could talk about the fact that we used to have the best energy portfolio under the president, obviously before, President Trump, and we don't anymore."
"... I think this Christmas, he should make a Christmas promise to get a cognitive test on how he's doing and maybe make a Christmas promise that he's going to resign soon," he added.
"This is the worst presidency and the worst majority of Congress in history. And I'm telling it how it is," concluded Van Drew.
