The lawyer of Boeing whistleblower John Barnett, who was found dead in a hotel parking lot by a hotel in South Carolina, has cast doubts on ruling it a "suicide," referring to the incident as "alleged."

Barnett’s lawyer Brian Knowles told the Corporate Crime Reporter, "They found him in his truck dead from an ‘alleged’ self-inflicted gunshot. We drove to the hotel and spoke with the police and the coroner.”

“John had been back and forth for quite some time getting prepared. The defense examined him for their allowed seven hours under the rules on Thursday. I cross-examined him all day yesterday (Friday) and did not finish," he also added in an email.

John Barnett was a quality manager at Boeing for nearly three decades.

This is a breaking story. refresh for updates.

When i heard DOJ was doing a criminal investigation into Boeing and then hearing of this man's death... I got goosebumps. NOPE.. he likely did NOT kill himself. I hope the truth prevails.
