The 23-year-old woman who was kidnapped in Brampton has been located and is safe.
Police say Salina Ouk, 23, of Brampton, walked herself to the city's police headquarters at around 7:30 pm.
Ouk had been missing since Sunday morning, according to CP24.
Her kidnapper, however, has yet to be located.
Police were originally called to her Brampton residence for a reported disturbance, "reports were a male was screaming and banging on the door of a residence."
While responding, police found a male suspect in the driver's seat of the Civic and a female in the back seat. "There was an interaction, and two officers discharged their firearms in the direction of the vehicle," a police statement read.
According to police, the man then fled the area with the female victim, who did not go willingly.
The suspect has been identified as 21-year-old Kwami Garwood, police said they believe he is armed and dangerous. Garwood is wanted on several outstanding warrants in the Greater Toronto Area. He is wanted on a first-degree murder warrant in connection with last years shooting death of Andre Charles, 43.
