BREAKING: 7 illegal immigrants arrested in Florida during child sex trafficking operation

Bay County Sheriff's Office noted that the address of three suspects was listed as Panama City.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that seven of the 19 people arrested in Bay County, Florida following a nationwide child sex trafficking operation were illegal immigrants.

Six of the illegal immigrants are suspected of traveling to meet a minor for sex and soliciting a minor for sex, five of whom also allegedly solicited a minor for sex, while the seventh was found to have been in possession of child pornography.



The seven suspects range in age from 23 to 37, and come from various backgrounds. In a press release, the Bay County Sheriff's Office noted that the current address of three suspects was listed as Panama City. The place of origin for the other four was not disclosed.

According to the FBI, Operation Cross Country XIII led to the identification or arrest of 126 suspects in total for child sexual exploitation or human trafficking offenses​​​​​​.
