UK prime minister Boris Johnson was dismissed from St. Thomas hospital following a bout with coronavirus.
The prime minister will not be returning to work immediately, according to BBC.
It was reported that Johnson had taken oxygen while in the ICU, though he did not require a ventilator and he was always conscious.
The UK Prime Minister, 55, was "in good spirits" at his time in hospital, despite having spent time in the ICU, a statement from number 10 said.
"The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery," the statement reads.
PM Johnson announced that he had contracted the virus on March 27 in a video published on Twitter.
