Trans attacker bit off stepdad's ears, gouged his eyes out, raped him before victim jumped out Brazil home balcony: police

A man who identifies as a woman in Brazil has been arrested after the suspect's stepdad was found with his eyes gouged out and his ears bitten off. The victim, 61, was also raped during the vicious attack.  

Aurora Naomi La Fey, 31, was detained in the city of Manaus and claimed that he was suffering from hallucinations after using cannabis. The 61-year-old stepdad was able to jump from the third-story balcony during the attack to escape. The victim is in critical condition and has been blinded by the attack.  

The man described the attack from his trans stepson as "satanic," according to a police statement. Surgeons had to remove both of the man's eyes, according to Life Site News. The stepson reportedly said that the attack was sparked after the stepdad did not accept his "gender identity." The attack took place on September 16 when the victim came back to his apartment and found his stepson in only a towel.  

Police were not able to recover the man's ears and believe that the stepson ingested them. La Fey has denied that he raped his stepdad during the attack. Investigators said that the victim was sexually assaulted after losing consciousness. Authorities are awaiting on forensic results to determine if the sexual assault took place.  

La Fey later claimed to have used a "particularly potent" strain of cannabis that led to the attack. "We are facing an episode of extreme violence, in which the victim was attacked inside their own home and suffered exceptionally serious injuries," Brazilian police said, per GB News.  

"The investigation was conducted with priority from the very beginning, allowing for the identification of the suspect and the request for preventive detention, which was subsequently granted by the judiciary."
