The mother of 18-year-old Miles Pfeffer, the suspect arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a Temple University police officer in Philadelphia, allegedly picked him up after the incident.
Local Fox reporter Steve Keeley tweeted that Pfeffer's brother was reportedly with him when he allegedly shot Officer Fitzgerald and that after the shooting Pfeffer allegedly carjacked another nearby victim, drove that car a few streets from the scene, and that then had his mother pick him up.
Pfeffer was charged with 24 counts including murder.
Pfeffer was arrested in a wealthy, suburban home in Buckingham Township, in Bucks County, Penn.
