On Sunday night, a driver smashed their car into a parked SUV that was guarding Joe Biden’s presidential motorcade in Delaware.
According to the Associated Press, a driver in a sedan hit a Secret Service vehicle that was being used to close off intersections near Biden’s campaign headquarters as Biden was walking from his office to an armored SUV.
The driver reportedly attempted to continue to drive into a closed-off intersection, but Secret Service agents surrounded the vehicle with weapons drawn and instructed the driver to put his hands up.
Biden was moved into his awaiting vehicle, where Jill Biden was already seated, and the two were driven back to their home.
