CIA Director John Ratcliffe was able to share information with FBI Director Kash Patel that led to the raid on John Bolton's home. Bolton is a former national security advisor to President Donald Trump in his first term.

Human Events Daily Host Jack Posobiec revealed on X in an exclusive report, "CIA Director John Ratcliffe provided Kash Patel access to US intelligence that served as the basis for the warrant to raid Bolton."

“Bolton disingenuously attacking Trump for mishandling classified information will go down as one of the most audacious and ironic acts of malice in political history,” a source familiar with the matter told Posobiec. “Bolton shouldn’t have been throwing stones in his (now-raided) glass house.”

The report comes after Bolton's Maryland home was raided this morning by federal law enforcement.

As news broke of the raid, Patel posted to X, "NO ONE is above the law… @FBI agents on mission."

Attorney General Pam Bondi shared Patel's post, and stated, "America’s safety isn’t negotiable. Justice will be pursued. Always."

Bolton served for 17 months during Trump's first term as a national security advisor but has become an outspoken critic of Trump since his exit.

When Trump was asked by reporters about the raid, he responded, "I know nothing about it. I just saw it this morning, they did a raid," but that he expected to learn more from briefings on the matter.

“I tell [Attorney General Pam Bondi], and I tell the group, I don’t want to know, but you have to do what you have to do. I don’t want to know about it,” Trump added. “It’s not necessary. I could know about. I could be the one starting it. I’m actually the chief law enforcement officer. But I feel that it’s better this way.”

An investigation into Bolton involves classified documents and had been previously underway during the Biden administration. However, the investigation was closed for "political reasons," a US official told reporters.

The investigation into Bolton had first been opened in Trump's first term because of Bolton's book, "The Room Where It Happened." The book reportedly relied on classified materials, and Trump reportedly did not want it published over those concerns.
