Legendary actress Diane Keaton has died at the age of 79.

According to a report by People, Keaton’s family confirmed she passed away in California. Further details surrounding the cause or circumstances of her death have not yet been released.

Born Diane Hall, Keaton had a substantial career across multiple decades. She made her debut in the 1970 film Lovers and Other Strangers. She is primarily known for her roles in “The Godfather" as well as “Annie Hall," for which she won an Oscar for Best Actress in 1977.

Keaton is survived by her two adoptive children, Dexter and Duke.
