Biden was over 2 hours late to the presser on Thursday evening. It was originally going to be at 5:30pm.
After President Joe Biden arrived over two hours late to his evening presser on Thursday, he called Kamala Harris "Vice President Trump."
The delayed presser comes as Biden has been facing mounting pressure about dropping out of the race due to questions surrounding his mental and physical capacity at age 81. Just before the presser, Biden called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "President Putin" before he made a similar flub in his "big boy" press conference.
He was asked by a reporter at Reuters, "What concerns do you have about Vice President Harris' ability to beat Donald Trump if she were at the top of the ticket?"
Biden responded, "I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president if I didn't think she was not qualified to be president. So, let's start there."
In the case with Zelensky, Biden said, "And now I want to hand it over to the President of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination. Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin."
"President Putin, we're going to beat President Putin. President Zelensky. I'm so focused on beating Putin, we gotta worry about it. Anyway," he added when introducing Zelensky.
When he was asked about this flub in the later presser, Biden asked the reporter, "Have you seen a more successful conference? What do you think?"
He then touted the conference and said that it was one of the most successful conferences he "attended in a long time." Additionally, during the later presser, Biden did not just confuse Harris with Trump, he stumbled over his words multiple times as well.
Biden said that he is following the advice of his commander-in-chief when he himself is the commander-in-chief of the country.
During the presser, Biden had a list of reporters to call on that was preset as he finished up his speech. Outlets from Reuters to the Associated Press asked questions, many having to do with Biden's ability to serve another term as president.
Senior Editor at Human Events Jack Posobiec quipped about the many questions Biden was fumbling the answers to, commenting, "Biden is somehow filibustering himself."

'Big Boy' conference?? Isn't that what you say to your child when potty-training? If they make it to the toilet on time, they're a 'big boy'. Wow! That does apply to Biden.
