According to a Fox News report from August, Schwerin reportedly visited the White House and vice presidential residence at least 36 times while Biden was vice president.
Hunter’s ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, said that Schwerin "managed almost every aspect of our financial life." Schwerin has served as president of Rosemont Seneca Advisors, a company co-founded by Hunter Biden.
In a February 2014 email, Hunter Biden said that Schwerin was a "close confidant and counsel to his father.
