Testifying on Day 3 of the preliminary hearing of Tyler Robinson was Brian David with the State Bureau of Investigation who was assigned to be a case agent in the killing of Charlie Kirk, during which he spoke about the events of Robinson turning himself in at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. During his testimony, a short clip showing Robinson after turning himself in was played in the courtroom.

Davis said he received a call at around 8:30 pm on September 11, 2025 requesting that he travel to St George because a person was turning himself in regarding his involvement with the shooting.  He said he and others landed in St George at around 11:30 pm.

Davis said that Robinson had arrived at the Sheriff’s Office at around 9 pm, and had arrived with his parents and a "family friend." Davis said he spoke with Robinson, who provided his name and date of birth.

He said that Robinson’s parents, as well as family friend Mike Mitchell, were interviewed by authorities, and that he was involved in the interview of Robinson’s mother.
